At the request of Kuwait Industries Union (KIU), Dr. Tariq Aldowaisan of Global Lead Consultants (GLC) provided a three-day training course from 6th to 8th February 2023, titled “The Fundamentals of Health & Safety in Manufacturing Facilities”. Participants came from various manufacturing companies, and the course was cosponsored by Kuwait Foundation for the Advancement of Sciences (KFAS).
The course covered key occupational health and safety (OHS) concepts, the local regulatory agencies and their related standards, the Safety Data Sheet (SDS), common OHS hazards that are present in manufacturing settings, safety inspection approaches, and more.
